The International Health Risk Management Forum 2012 Roundtable Conference concluded with a great success
"The International Health Risk Management Forum 2012 Roundtable Conference –Win-Win Collaboration between Commercial Health Insurance and Health Risk Management under New Policies” (website: www.internationalhrm.org) organized by International Health Risk Management Association (IHRMA), sponsored by VHS Group and guided and supported by China Workers Mutual Insurance Association of All China Federation of Trade Unions, Insurance Association of China (IAC) and International Disease Management Alliance (IDMA) was held in Beijing on November 28, 2012.
This year, the Chinese government has released some favorable policies for health risk management industry, such as the Notice on Issues Regarding Health Insurance Products Providing Health Management Services and Guiding Opinions on Commercial Insurance Institutions Engaging in Providing New-Style Rural Cooperative Medical Services. Policy environment determines the basic survival environment for an industry, so how to adapt to new policies and how to seize the opportunity and take advantage of a favorable situation have become the focus of an industry. This roundtable forum was just the occasion for in-depth exchanges and discussions with related leaders and industry elites by centering on this spotlight. Yu Hua, Chief Editor of China Insurance News, attended and chaired the roundtable forum. Mr. Zhu Xiangyuan, former member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC), Dr. Li Hang from China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) and Mr. Len Deacon, Executive Director of IHRMA made important remarks at the event.
